Srila Prabhupada

“The cow is the most important animal for developing the human body to perfection. Don’t purchase meat from the slaughterhouse. Don’t kill them. We shall protect the cow. As long as they’re alive, let us take the cow’s milk and prepare delicious foods for the whole human society.

A civilised man is expected to live on foodstuffs comprising fruits, vegetables, grains, sugar and milk. The bull helps in the agricultural process of producing grain, etc., and thus in one sense the bull is the father of humankind, whereas the cow is the mother, for she supplies milk to human society. A civilised man is expected to give all protection to the bulls and cows.”

Our values, our pillars

Our values,
Our pillars

Ahimsa

We practice a non-violent (ahimsa) lifestyle, which means that every cow, calf and bull live for the duration of their lives without fear of death, mistreatment or being over-milked. The calves enjoy happily drinking milk from their mothers.

Sustainabilty

We live lightly on the earth, honouring natural rhythms and regenerative practices. Our choices are guided by the wellbeing of tomorrow.

Service

A heartfelt practice that aligns everyday actions with devotion and purpose. It is expressed through small, mindful acts of care for people, animals, and the land. In serving with humility, we cultivate gratitude, connection, and a deeper sense of meaning in daily life.

Compassion

Kindness is not an idea here — it is a daily practice in how we think, act, and relate. By seeing Krishna’s presence in all life, we create a shared culture of empathy and belonging.
